These orbit motors are designed with a fixed internal gear ring connected to the housing. Hydraulic oil entering through the oil port drives the rotor to revolve around a central axis. The rotor, which rotates slowly, then transfers power through a splined shaft to produce output motion.
Orbit Motor design has evolved to include rollers within the built-in gear ring. These rollers significantly reduce friction, allowing for higher starting and operating torque while improving overall efficiency. Even at very low speeds, the output shaft maintains stable performance. Additionally, the motor can quickly reverse direction by changing the flow of input and output, generating equal torque in both directions.
Structural and Performance Characteristics
The orbit hydraulic motor is an integrated output shaft and distribution valve.
It is a toothed stator and rotor pair orbit hydraulic motor.
Main functional features:
End face and axial surface distribution for high precision and compact design
Durable toothed stator and rotor pairs for long service life under high pressure
Double angular contact ball bearings for high mechanical efficiency and load capacity
An advanced distribution mechanism with automatic wear compensation
Flexible installation options, including flanges, output shafts, and oil ports
The ability to operate in both series and parallel configurations (with an external oil drain required for series use)
It adopts a tapered roller bearing support design, which has a large radial load-carrying capacity, enabling the motor to directly drive the working mechanism.
